Third painting

I also wanted to share my third painting. The goal was to play with textures. This canvas is 30 x 36 inches and it was really intimidating at first. I was a little anxious, so I hurried up and slammed some texture on it FAST. Finally, the white space stopped scaring me.
I am not quite sure it is really finished yet and I welcome suggestions to make it more interesting.

Hi!
It's been a while. I am posting my two journal pages for Crusade No. 60 by Michelle Ward even though I am not please with either one.
But hey! we are in it for the process right? not the end product. My goal is simply to come out and play, and share with this fabulous community of artists.

It's all about things we love. She supplies cool labels and ''declaration'' blocks. I will definitely start on that today. Here's a few photos I will use.

This is my take on Traci Bautista's Workshop Doodles Unleashed-week 4 for Strathmore. I learned a lot about painting on paper and hope to correct the mistakes I made in the next project.
It was a lot of fun and I can't wait for the next challenge.

Crusade no. 59 - Michelle Ward challenge

I finally did my page for the challenge Michelle Ward invited us to. The photo will appear below along with a few of the projects i did in 2011. At first, i tought i did close to nothing worth mentionning, but as i sat and strarted to write down the things that came to mind, there was more and more filling up the page. '' HOW COOL IS THAT!''

I believe this is an amazing way to start the new year. How quickly we forget the things that fill our days as the months pass by. I am very happy i took the time to do this and i plan to start right away on the list for the end of 2012.

Je viens tout juste de créer ce Blog pour participer à la Crusade no. 59 de Michelle Ward.
Elle m'inspire beaucoup, moi qui ne suis qu'une débutante dans le fabuleux monde des arts.
Elle a eu l'idée géniale de célébrer nos accomplissements de 2011 plutôt que de faire des résolutions du Nouvel An... que l'on ne tient jamais d'ailleurs.
